We are seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to grow and develop new business for our Mission Critical Team. The primary focus will be aggressively pursuing new opportunities in the data center industry for PLCs, HMI's, Panel Builds, and Industrial IT/OT solutions. We provide comprehensive solutions for customer's controls, electrical power monitoring & information needs using all of the top names in the industry such as Rockwell Automation, AVEVA/Wonderware, Inductive Ignition, Siemens, Schneider Electric, GE, and more. Our BDMs quarterback the sales pursuit at E Tech Group and are responsible to find and qualify new project opportunities, clearly identify the problem(s) the customer needs to solve, document the benefits to the customer if solved, and develop the pursuit strategy needed to convert opportunities into wins. You will:
Build upon and assist in protecting our current $45M base of business by developing new client relationships and expanding the portfolio of business with current and new Data Center clients and partners; this includes selling all aspects of Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) projects including Project/Program Management, Consulting/Design Engineering, PLC based control systems & HMI's, and other Automation Services. Communicate the problem-solution-benefits to the customer's key stakeholders which include, but are not limited to engineering, operations, IT, finance, and executive management. Listen to customer issues and suggest solutions to address those issues:
Solution Selling. Call on end users, general contractors, & engineering firms to get engaged early in the process. Develop value based technical proposals, pursue, and close project orders. Provide and maintain forecasted bookings and opportunities pipelines with the appropriate services and materials mix. Develop and manage key and strategic partnering relationships with vendors and / or subcontractors as they are required to serve market needs. You have:
BS Engineering / Business, Technical degree, or equivalent education or work experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in the industrial automation and controls industry with at least 3 years of direct experience in the Data Center Industry. Experience selling PLC, HMI/SCADA, Historian, and/or software or services solution Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and self-prioritize tasks Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals CRM system experience Willing to travel - 40% to 60% Location is not a critical factor as long as there is access to a large domestic/international airport. It is a plus if you are located in the greater Dallas, TX, or Washington, D.C. area. Benefits & Perks:

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Business DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
